The UNDEAD World
The Good Guys
Mors and Hawk shouldn’t work. One is bound to order and purpose, the other survives by instinct and unpredictability. But in a world that no longer follows any rules, they find themselves moving in the same direction—searching for answers neither of them can uncover alone.
Mors
Mors moves through the world with calm precision, mainly unaffected by fatigue, able to sense where death has been disrupted and drawn instinctively toward what is wrong. Always searching for something he cannot find.
Hawk
The UNDEAD World
The dead didn’t come back right. They move, they gather, they fill the spaces the living left behind—but there is nothing behind their eyes. No thought. No presence. Just empty bodies continuing on, as if something has been taken from them.
Walker
Runner
Runners are unstable and unpredictable, moving in sudden bursts of speed that feel wrong against the slow decay of the world. They hunt with a purpose, reacting aggressively to movement, making them far more dangerous than the walkers. Faster, but falling apart just as quickly.
Chomper
Chompers don’t need speed. Their strength lies in their grip—once they catch hold, they don’t release. Their bite is immediate and relentless, turning close encounters into fatal ones. Slow to approach, but near impossible to escape once they connect.
Crawler
Crawlers are what’s left when the body can no longer stand they move low and slow, dragging themselves through spaces others can’t reach. Often hidden and easily missed, they become dangerous, overlooked until it’s too late, they strike from below, closing distance in silence.
Bloated
Usually found in damp, waterlogged areas, Bloated undead swell and distort as they decay. Slow and unstable, they become most dangerous when disturbed - They don’t need speed or strength - just proximity. When they rupture they turn close encounters into something far more hazardous.
Spitter
Boney
The Bag of Bones are remnants from the earliest days of the outbreak, among the oldest of the undead - stripped of most flesh, yet still moving. Fragile in appearance but unnaturally persistent, they continue long past the point they should have fallen apart.
Brute
Larger, stronger, and far more resilient than the rest, Brutes are built for impact. Their bodies hold together where others fall apart, carrying a weight and force that can break through obstacles. Slow but relentless, when a Brute moves toward you, there’s very little that can stop it.
More about the UNDEAD
The streets are no longer empty. The undead drift through what remains of the world, silent and unchanging, as though time has no meaning to them.
- They don’t think. They don’t feel. They don’t stop.
- They move without purpose—but never truly stop.
- They gather in numbers, filling streets and structures alike.
How to survive
Survival in this world is simple—keep moving, stay aware, and never give the dead a reason to notice you. If you want to last out here, trust your instincts.
- Keep moving. Staying still gets you noticed.
- Don’t assume they can’t reach you. They always do.
- Noise doesn’t scare them—but it draws attention.
